Facts
- In early September, an error was detected that affected the registration of some early votes. The Swedish Election Authority corrected the error, and all early votes have been registered correctly since the morning of 4 September.
- It was initially feared that around 4,000 voters were affected, but analysis showed that the actual figure was no more than 300.
- Voters are advised to wait and not cast another early vote, since doing so would invalidate all of their early votes.
- We will publish ongoing updates on this page about what voters can do.
