Assistance with voting

Do you need assistance with voting? If so, support is available both at the voting location and when voting early. If you can’t get to a voting location, you can vote from home. You can either ask someone else to help you, or some polling staff can come to your home.

Here’s how you can get help voting

  • Polling staff can assist you at all voting locations and early voting locations if you need help.
  • If you can’t get to a voting location due to illness or disability, or for some other reason, you can vote by messenger (the messenger could be a relative, for example).
  • Alternatively, your municipality can send two polling staff members to your home to collect your vote from you. They are known as mobile polling staff.
