Riksdag election results

Today, Saturday 17 September 2022, the Swedish Election Authority determined the results of the election to the Riksdag (the Swedish parliament).

Elections to municipal and regional councils

The county administrative boards are continuing with their counts in order to establish the final election results. First the votes in the municipal council elections are counted, then the votes in the regional council elections. When the vote count for parties and specific candidates has been completed for both the municipal and regional council elections, the county administrative boards will distribute the mandates and appoint the council members and deputies. The county administrative boards determine the results of each election. Their reports are published on the Swedish Election Authority’s website.
