The Election Authority Board has, on this date Sunday 16 September, taken a decision to establish the results of the election to the Riksdag, the Swedish Parliament.

Elections to municipal and county councils
The county administrative boards are continuing with their count in order to establish the final election results. First the votes for the municipal council elections in the county are counted, and then the county council election votes. When the counting of all the votes and personal votes is completed for each type of election, the county administrative boards distribute the mandates and appoint the council members and their deputies. The county administrative boards establish the results of each election. Their reports are published on the Election Authority website.
